Quality Assurance Institute

Founded in 1980, the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) provides leadership in improving the quality, productivity, and effectiveness in the information services through process management. It is a worldwide organization that shares state-of-the-art methods, tools, and techniques among its members. QAI achiever this by providing consulting, education and training services, and independent assessments.

Among the certification QAI provides:

  • Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
  • Certified Software Project Manager (CSPM)
  • Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ)

International Institute for Software Testing

The IIST offers two certification programs that are based on a testing body of knowledge approved by an independent advisory board. To achieve certification, candidates pass an examination on ten (10) courses representing different areas of the art of testing software.

The two certifications are:

  • Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)
  • Certified Test Manager (CTM)
